Effective Date: January 29, 2026 • Version: 1.0 (Beta)
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a binding legal agreement between Enblock Limited, a company incorporated in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region ("Enblock," "we," "us," or "our"), and you ("User" or "you").
By accessing or using the CableBlock service (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service immediately. The Service is currently in Beta, which means it is still under development and may contain bugs or errors.
2.1 "As-Is" Status: The Service is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free or uninterrupted.
2.2 Feature Changes: During the Beta period, we reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature at any time without notice.
2.3 No Liability for Data Loss: While we take regular backups, you acknowledge that using Beta software carries a risk of data loss. You are responsible for maintaining copies of your original CSV files.
2.4 Feedback: Any feedback or suggestions you provide may be used by us to improve the Service without any obligation to compensate you.
CableBlock operates on a Project-Centric model, distinct from traditional user subscriptions.
3.1 Project Tiers:
Free Tier: Limited to one (1) project per user and a maximum of 200 cables. Collaborative features and sharing are disabled.
Standard Tier: Paid projects allow unlimited cables, up to 25 schedule revisions, and up to 5 team members.
3.2 Access Duration: Purchasing a "Standard Workspace" grants Active Access for 12 months from the date of payment. "Active Access" includes the ability to edit, update, and collaborate on the project.
3.3 Expiry & Read-Only Mode: After 12 months, your project will automatically expire and enter Read-Only Mode. In this state:
4.1 One-Time Fees: Payments are non-recurring, one-time fees processed via Stripe. This is a Capital Expenditure (CapEx) model, not a subscription service.
4.2 Refunds: Due to the instant availability of digital goods (diagram generation), we generally do not offer refunds once a Standard Workspace has been used. Exceptions may be made at our sole discretion for technical failures.
5.1 Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials (managed via Clerk).
5.2 Shared Links: Creating a "Shared Link" generates a public URL that allows anyone with the link to view your project data without logging in. You are solely responsible for whom you share this link with and for revoking it when access is no longer needed.
5.3 Acceptable Use: You agree not to reverse engineer the Service or attempt to bypass tier limitations (e.g., cable limits or member caps).
6.1 Your Data: You retain full ownership of the cable schedules (CSV files) and project data you upload. You grant Enblock Limited a limited, non-exclusive license to process this data solely to generate diagrams and provide the Service.
6.2 Our IP: The CableBlock platform, including its code, visual interfaces, algorithms, and diagramming logic, is the property of Enblock Limited.
7.1 Validation Disclaimer: CableBlock is a visualization and documentation tool, not an electrical engineering certification tool. "Validation" refers to data topology logic (e.g., checking that cables have a source and destination). The Service does not perform electrical safety calculations (e.g., voltage drop, thermal constraints) and must not be used as a substitute for professional engineering certification.
7.2 Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law (including the Control of Exemption Clauses Ordinance, Cap. 71):
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. We may retain your project data in Read-Only mode for a reasonable period before deletion, subject to storage policies.
9.1 Jurisdiction: These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
9.2 Dispute Resolution: Any dispute, controversy, difference, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms, including the existence, validity, interpretation, performance, breach, or termination thereof, shall be referred to and finally resolved by the courts of Hong Kong.
